Story HQ was built on a simple belief: strong communities deserve intentional spaces to gather, connect, and grow.
Founded by a mother-daughter team, our journey began in 2012 with Story Event Planning, creating meaningful experiences that celebrated life's milestones and brought people together across Washington, DC. As our community grew, so did our vision. We recognized the need for more than memorable events—we envisioned a permanent home where collaboration, creativity, and celebration could thrive every day.
That vision became Story HQ.
Today, Story HQ is a members-based event and co-working establishment where professionals, entrepreneurs, creatives, and community leaders come together to work, celebrate, and build meaningful connections. We remain committed to investing in DC by supporting local businesses, creating opportunities, and fostering a vibrant community where every gathering has purpose.
